LIBRARY PRODUCTIONS were asked to come on board to deliver the Technical Product and Stage Management for the end to end production for Wizkid’s 3 Night O2 Residency.

The fasting settling show in the O2 Arena history! This 3 night residency had to meet some high expectations.

As well as the live shows attended by sell-out audience, we also shot a Jimmy Fallon appearance performance during the tenancy. 

LIBRARY PRODUCTIONS was brought in to provide technical production and stage management for both rehearsals and show and liaised with the existing Wizkid team, venue, promoters and suppliers, as well as the design teams. 

We faced several challenges on this show, one being that the design team was replaced very close to loading into rehearsals. So the show was redesigned from scratch with several new suppliers coming on board.  We had to work round the clock to deliver the show on time in this iconic London venue, while working around other LIBARY PRODUCTIONS projects running consecutively. Definitely one of our more challenging seasons! 

The live show had the most rigging points the O2 had seen in several years and was one of the largest productions to come through the doors in some time. The show had both kinesis rigging and flying of the performer over the audience, both with come with their unique set of challenges! The level of pyro on the show was also notable. 

The show was extremely well received by the press. 

Guest performers at the show included Skepta, TEMS and Giggs.
